SERVICE INFORMATION
Photo Identification: William Siegfried 07040710
Name: William Siegfried
Rank: Corporal
MOS: 0311 Rifleman
Billet: Thirteenth Fire-team leader.
Years of Service: 6 years

PERSONAL INFORMATION
Age: 24
Height: 6'0"
Weight: 165lbs
Personality: In public he likes to act like he’s God’s given gift to the world with no imperfections. He does act all high and mighty when in large groups because he loves making himself look, and feel that way even if he does get a fist to the gut. He also loves to show off his body since he has full confidence in it, as well as his so called “Award winning smile” which he keeps on almost all the time both in public and out of public view.

When on duty though he's a whole different person. He's respectful, kind, understanding, and helpful, yet he is also quite sarcasitc at times. He doesn't start fights, he's the type of man who ends the fights through words rather then action. He is a strong willed man who's seen hell and has came back. He's seen things that would turn a mans hair white, but he still manages to keep his sanity, and his humanity. He will always try to help out all those in need of support. He never turns down a chance to go on tour, as it allows him to look more human when he's over seas trying to help the people.

History:
William was born in Lahr Germany during the cold war in a US military hospital. His father served as a US Infantry during the cold war up until his retirement in 1993. William's family was both caring, kind, and happy. They lived their lives like every other American citizen just trying to get by. They sent William to school at age 4. His school was a private school in Florida in Tampa Bay.

When he was going through school he had no problems making friends with other kids and even the teachers. He was quite popular at his school and had a lot of friends. He also had high grades and was always able to understand the work given to him, other than one or two math problems here and there. His test scores were either in the low 70's or high 80's. He didn't believe school was hard or really needed for him. When he graduated from high school he didn't want to go to university or collage instead he wanted some adventure, and action. Something that was actually going to be a challenge for him.

One day he found it. The marines. William filled out all the paperwork, and did the tests that were required. He signed up for infantry. He was quickly sent off to BMT (Basic Military Training) where he learned just how hard becoming a marine was. He met a few friends during his training who he hung around with until they either quit or were transferred to a different platoon. None of it bothered him though. He passed all the course in boot camp like any other soldier. Then the final week came (the crucible). The hardest course of the training and also the most fun. He loved the final week, and even counted the days before it came to that week. When he finished his final week he was graduated, and was now a fully fledged member of the marine corps.

William served in Operation Iraqi freedom in 2003. He continued his service in the marines going everywhere and anywhere they sent him. He fought in Fallujah in 2006, which gave him his two scars on both his leg and upper back. He was also awarded the bronze star for his actions in the battle; While he was wounded he continued to fight fight, and stayed with his unit until everyone was out of hostile territory. He was also awarded the purple heart due to his wounds which got him a ticket home for a bit, and his two nasty scars. and was given command of a fire-team. He performed exceptionally outstanding work and was later awarded Defense Meritorious Service Medal for leading his Fire-team in taking their objectives, and defending them until reinforcements arrived. He was also awarded the Joint Service Achievement Medal for performing exceptionally while taking part in a Joint Operation in Iraq, and after securing all objectives quickly and effectively.

He was awarded the Afghan Campaign Medal for serving a tour in Afghanistan. Soon after he returned back from his tour, and is now at base.

SAMPLE ROLE-PLAY
Post 1:
It was a hot, sunny day. There wasn't a cloud up in the sky which was nice. Today was the kind of day William loved. This was the day when he could finally get out and enjoy himself. Sadly though he could not, he was stuck getting ready to go on patrol. This was something he really didn't want to do since he'd seen a lot of his friends get wounded from I.E.D's but it was part of his job. He just wished he could fight the bastards who kept fighting with guerilla warfare tactics. He knew they didn't want to since they'd had their asses kicked by them a good number of times during the past operations. William loved fighting head to head instead of hiding around, because hiding wasn't his thing. He was trained to fight and kill. Sure he was also trained to survive by keeping his head down, but half of the insurgents they fought couldn't hit a stationary target, and you were always near some sort of cover; whether it be a building or a large chunk of debris. Keeping your head down was smart in the open though since the snipers loved to use the open targets for practice. William knew he'd be fine, after more then two tours here he knew what not to do, and what to do.

William was done getting ready he was a little shocked to see that the others weren't ready yet. Well the guys he was heading out with were still green, and didn't know what real combat was yet. William hoped they wouldn't have to go through what he did. He didn't want them seeing their buddy laying dead beside them because of friendly fire, or a I.E.D. Those where the two greatest things to kill a marine here in this hellishly hot place. William just shook his head, so long as they were with him, and followed his orders they'd get out in one peace. Sadly a lot of the guys under his command were cocky show offs like himself, which didn't fair to well with him, or his/their CO. Soon William was climbing into his Humvee fully armed, and ready to fight, or really walk around securing areas with no action.

Post 2:
William and his team had been driving around for a good 3 hours now. Nothing happened except for the odd runner they encountered while they were checking their sectors for any hostiles. They didn't last long though, because a Humvee would stop them before they could get anywhere. William was a little bored of this but he acted like he always did, and made sure to act friendly towards the locals. He was getting tired of all this, he couldn't wait for his tour to be done. He didn't want to see another grain of sand other than the sandy white beaches of the Caribbean. Which was the place he's been saving up his left over money to go. He was pretty close to it as well.

As William climbed back into his Humvee he heard that one of the other units had come under attack. William's SigPig (radio man) began to relay that reinforcements were coming, after William received the green light from headquarters. "Alright guys, looks like we have orders to save a few ladies in distress." William told the marines. They all laughed at that. They loved the sarcastic jokes William would often make when other units need were calling for reinforcements; often due to the fact when they arrive its only one man pinning them down.

Post 3:
William and his Humvee soon arrived at the location to see it was not just one man but rather a small group, and this group knew how to shoot. Two marines were wounded, and there was nothing to show for it other then a empty casings and bullet holes. "Son of a Bi-" William was cut short as his CO was on the line asking for a update. "Sir so far its not looking to good. There are two downed marines, and nothing to show for it." William relayed to his CO. His CO quickly began to think of something. He then gave orders for William and his team to go around and flank the small group while the others keep their eyes on them so William's Fire-team could get around. "Sir, yes sir." William finished as he passed back the phone to his SigPig.

"Alright guys we have orders to kick some ass." William said as he waved them all in. Once they were all in he laid out a map of the area, and then circled the one they were in. William began to give them the details of the plan. He told them how they were going to get around, and what they'd all have to be aware of; such as two or more to guards that were left to cover the enemy flank. Once they were told the plan William asked if anyone had any questions. None were asked. It meant they knew the plan, if they didn't there would be hell to pay.

William and his team began to make their way around. Amazingly nothing. No guards or traps. William still kept his guard up though. Soon William's team reach the corner where the enemy were firing from. He peaked around to get a good look. He could see them all firing on the marines. William returned and looked over at his men, then over at a nearby side. They were going to break up into two teams. William waved them to go while he and the S.A.W operator covered them. They didn't open up fire since they hadn't been noticed yet. Once the team of two were over William and the S.A.W operator returned back to cover. William gave them the engage on three together signal. They needed saying they understood. William nodded back then looked up to his S.A.W man. "You ready for this?" William asked in a whisper. The man looked at William then gave him a slight nod saying he was. William then began to count down. Once he hit three he and his men turned the corner and open fire. The enemy were all cut down. Some tried to run but were cut short. The area was secure. William stood up then radioed in.

admin notes: i've edited things out that i felt did not belong such as medals that I didn't see rated. I'm allowing your character to keep his Bronze Star. You might want to brush up on the requirements of medals a bit, it all looks fine tho i've edited ur rqnks and such. welcome to the forum
